The Society

The Royal Geographical Society of Queensland promotes the study of geography and encourages a greater understanding and enjoyment of the world around us. The Society was established in 1885. It is a non-profit organisation that brings together people from all walks of life who share an interest in geography.

This is the closest building to the XXXX Brewery on the non-city side. Office hours are generally 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday. However, we have a small staff so it is always wise to check the office will be open before visiting.

The Society's Rules (or Constitution) may be downloaded here. In accordance with Queensland law, the Society wishes to inform members and prospective members that it holds public liability insurance cover of $10,000,000.
